I am a writer working on a large-scale creative project. The PLAUD NotePin S has become the backbone of my entire creative process. I record my thoughts while walking the dog, riding the bus, anywhere an idea surfaces. If I wake up at 3 AM with an idea I am not fumbling for the notes app or scribbling in the dark. I just speak. The transcription is accurate, the battery life is exceptional, and the device is so unobtrusive I forget it is on.
I have tried the competition. It cannot hold a candle to this device. Full stop.
It comes with a lanyard, a watch-style clip, and a shirt clip so you can wear it however works for you. The magnet snaps perfectly into the clip when aligned correctly and acts like a force field when it is not, so the hardware design is Apple-esque in its thoughtfulness.
One strong recommendation: get the unlimited plan. Minutes get eaten up much faster than you would ever imagine and the unlimited plan takes all the stress out of it completely. You do not want to be rationing your thoughts.
The support team is responsive, completely above board, and treats you like a person. After a few weeks of daily use I cannot imagine working without it.

As someone who gets very distracted easily, this helps me remember conversations and gives me a summary so I’m not overwhelmed with reading the transcripts. Does a very good job interpreting different voices, including my speech impairment. Not perfect but will get most of the context correctly. I wear it all day long and charge it at night when it needs to be charged. I put it under my shirt because I work at a cafe and can’t have loose jewelry. It still gets all the conversation, including under a sweatshirt.
I love the action tasks bullet list in one of the templates. There are a few templates to choose from.
All around a solid product but with any AI product, it needs some improvement. Mostly with figuring which speaker is talking.
