Plaud shipped its first device in 2023. Three years later, the lineup covers four physical note takers and a desktop app, built around one idea: conversations happen in a lot of places, and the right tool depends on where yours happen.

From one device to a full AI ecosystem
Here is what Plaud has built since 2023, in the order most people meet them.
Plaud Note started it all: the world's first AI voice recorder that clips to your phone with a magnetic case and allows you to manually switch between phone call and in-person recording using the buttons. It is still the pick for hybrid work, calls, and meetings anywhere.
Plaud NotePin followed as the wearable option: a 0.59 oz clip, pin, or wristband built for hands-free, in-person capture. It has no phone-call sensor, so it stays focused on the room, not the call.
Plaud Note Pro is the newest addition to the desk-and-call side of the lineup. It keeps Note's dual-mode recording but adds a 4-mic array with AI beamforming for capture up to 16.4 feet away, an InstantView AMOLED display, Press to Highlight, and up to 50 hours of recording in Endurance mode. It is built for teams and professionals who need clarity in larger spaces.
Plaud NotePin S is the newest wearable, launched at CES 2026. It ships with all four wearing accessories (lanyard, wristband, clip, magnetic pin) in the box, adds a tactile record button in place of the original's pressure-sensitive one, and supports Apple Find My.
The hardware is only half of it. Plaud Intelligence, the AI layer behind every device, now runs across three places: the Plaud App on mobile, Plaud Web in the browser, and Plaud Desktop, which joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet to capture and summarize online meetings without a bot. That means one account now covers in-person, phone, and online conversations.
For organizations, Plaud Team adds a centralized workspace: shared billing, member management, and device tracking across a company, on the same security and privacy standards as the individual plans. Developers can build on Plaud through a Device SDK & API and an MCP & CLI integration.
Every device ships with a free Starter Plan, so you can try the workflow before adding a paid plan.
Save up to 20% for our 3rd anniversary (July 20 to 26)
Plaud's Anniversary Sale runs from 12:00 AM PST on July 20, 2026, to 11:59 PM PST on July 26, 2026. During that window:
- Plaud Note drops from $159.00 to $126.99, 20% off.
- Plaud NotePin drops from $159.00 to $126.99, 20% off.
- Plaud NotePin Combo drops from $169.00 to $134.99, 20% off.
- The Pro Plan bundle (a device plus a year of Plaud Intelligence, compare price $258.99) saves an extra $32 on top of its year-round bundle price.
- The Unlimited Plan bundle (compare price $398.99) saves the same $32.
- All discounts apply automatically at checkout on the Anniversary Sale page, no code needed.
Orders placed during the sale still ship within 1 to 2 business days. Plaud's shipping policy flags that deliveries may run 4 to 5 days longer than usual because of demand.
If you already know you will want more than 300 minutes a month, pairing a device with an annual AI plan is where the savings add up most this week. The two annual plans differ mainly in transcription capacity. The Pro Plan gives 1,200 minutes a month. The Unlimited Plan removes the cap, up to 24 hours a day. Both include the same Plaud Intelligence feature set, so the choice comes down to how much you record, not which features you get.
A few offer-specific questions:

Find the Plaud device that fits how you work
If most of your work happens on the phone and you want the simplest, lightest option, Plaud Note is the practical pick. It attaches to your phone with a magnetic case and switches automatically between phone calls and in-person recording.
|
If your calls and meetings run longer, span bigger rooms, or you want a display that shows recording status at a glance, Plaud Note Pro is the step up. It keeps the same dual-mode recording as Note but adds a 4-mic array with AI beamforming for a 16.4-foot pickup range, an InstantView AMOLED display, and up to 50 hours of recording.
|
If your day is mostly in person, meetings, site visits, classroom conversations, a wearable makes more sense. Plaud NotePin is a 0.59 oz clip, pin, or wristband that records up to 20 hours on a charge. It does not handle phone calls, since it has no VCS sensor for that, so it is built for face-to-face capture. It ships with a magnetic pin and clip rather than all four wearing accessories.
|
For the newer wearable with a tactile record button, Apple Find My, and every wearable accessory in the box, Plaud NotePin S is the fuller kit. If you would rather stick with the original NotePin but still want all four accessories (lanyard, wristband, clip, magnetic pin) included, the Plaud NotePin Combo bundles those together.

Recordings are not used to train Plaud's models by default.
Turn your next conversation into actionable insights with Plaud
Three years in, the question is no longer whether Plaud has a device for your workflow. It has four, plus an app, web, and desktop layer that follows your conversations from the room to the phone to the screen. If your conversations happen on the phone, Plaud Note or Note Pro is the fit. If they happen in the room, Plaud NotePin, the NotePin Combo, or NotePin S fits. The device comparison page has the full breakdown if you want to compare specs side by side.
