Starter Plan benefits are automatically obtained when binding a Plaud device. You will automatically receive 300 minutes of transcription time each month. Unused time will not roll over to the next month. The Pro Plan or Unlimited Plan runs parallel to the Starter Plan and cannot be combined.

Currently, we offer two ways to purchase anAI membership:

• Direct Subscription: You can subscribe to our AI membership directly through our mobile app or web platform.
• Activation Code: You can purchase a one-time AI membership on our official website and activate it by entering the activation code through the redemption portal in the mobile app.

We offer two types of activation codes:

• Membership Activation Code: Includes comprehensive membership benefits.
• Transcription Add-On Activation Code: Contains only transcription hours and must be used with an existing membership.

When you use an activation code, the benefits will be immediately added to your account and take effect according to the following rules:

Membership Activation Code:

1. If you are currently a Starter Plan user:

• After using a membership activation code, benefits will take effect immediately, with the following priority: Unlimited Plan > Pro Plan.

2. If you are currently a Pro Plan user:

• After using a Pro Plan activation code, benefits will take effect after your current Pro Plan expires.
• If using an Unlimited Plan activation code, you will be immediately upgraded to the Unlimited Plan, and your existing Pro Plan will resume after the Unlimited Plan expires.

3. If you are currently an Unlimited Plan user:

• After using a Pro Plan activation code, benefits will take effect after your current Unlimited Plan expires.
• If using an Unlimited Plan activation code, it will take effect after your current Unlimited expires.

Transcription Add-On Activation Code:

• Transcription add-on activation codes can be activated at any time. The system will prioritize using transcription hours included in your membership plan first. Once the transcription hours in your plan are used up, it will start using hours from the transcription add-on.
• The validity period of transcription add-on activation codes can be stacked, with the most recent redemption determining the validity period.

To ensure the quality and stability of the transcription service, all users are limited to transcribing single files of no more than 24 hours in length. This applies to all membership levels.

If a user's transcription usage exceeds normal limits on a given day, the system will temporarily suspend transcription requests to ensure reasonable resource allocation. Even if users have sufficient membership balance or hours in their package, they will still need to wait for the restriction to reset before resuming transcription.

Transcription minutes are the unit of measure used for our voice-to-text transcription services. Even if you use up your minutes, you can still record audio normally. Transcription minutes only affect the availability of the audio-to-text functionality.

If you have an active plan, the transcription minutes included in your plan will be used first. Only after the minutes in your plan have been fully used will the minutes from the transcription add-on be deducted.

The reset of your minutes is based on the specific date and time you first obtained your plan, not the end of each calendar month. For instance, if you first obtained your plan on June 15th at 3 p.m., your minutes will reset on the 15th of each month at 3 p.m. You can view the specific time of the next reset in the Plaud AI Membership Center.

The Unlimited Plan provides unlimited transcription minutes per month. With an active Unlimited Plan, users can transcribe freely as neededwithout worrying about running out of minutes.

After successful purchase, the activation code will be sent separately via email to the contact email address you provided during purchase.

When using the activation code, please update the Plaud App to the latest version, and enter the activation code through the activation portal in the Plaud App to activate your membership benefits.

Unused activation codes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

We recommend using it as soon as possible. When using the activation code, please update the Plaud App to the latest version, and enter the activation code through the activation portal in the Plaud App to activate your membership benefits.

Once an Unlimited Plan activation code is used, refunds are not available.If you're unsure about committing to a year-long Unlimited Plan, we offer monthly subscription options for both Unlimited and Pro Plans in the Plaud App, which you can cancel anytime.

The Plaud AI membership is designed to complement the capabilities of Plaud devices. To fully experience membership benefits, you'll need to have a Plaud device bound to your account.

Your membership begins on the day you activate the membership plan. For example, if you activate the membership plan in the Plaud App today, your membership will start today and will renew on the same date next month.
