12-month warranty service

From the date of sales invoice issuance, Plaud Note / Plaud NotePin / Plaud Note Pro / Plaud NotePin S users are entitled to a 12-month warranty service.
[This limited warranty supplements, and does not replace, any statutory warranty rights you may have under applicable laws]
Under normal use conditions, if the device experiences performance failures within the warranty period, Plaud will provide limited warranty service free of charge.
When applying for warranty service, a valid device serial number and proof of purchase must be provided.

Warranty coverage

• Plaud Note / Plaud NotePin / Plaud NotePin S
Applicable to all standard models without a display screen.

• Plaud Note Pro (device with display screen)
Due to the display component used in Plaud Note Pro, the following additional warranty terms apply:

  1. In the event of display defects caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, Plaud may, upon inspection and at its sole discretion, provide replacement with an equivalent device. Due to the product design of Plaud Note Pro, display-related warranty services are fulfilled through whole-device replacement.
  2. The warranty does not cover cosmetic or physical damage caused by external force or improper use, including but not limited to cracks, shattered glass, scratches, dents, drops, collisions, compression, or other physical damage.
  3. Replacement devices provided under warranty may be new or refurbished, and will be functionally equivalent to the original device.

The following situations are not covered by the warranty:

  1. Unauthorized disassembly or operation
    Device that has been disassembled, repaired, modified, or maintained without authorization, or used in environments or conditions that do not comply with the official operation guidelines.
  2. Damage caused by misuse or external force
    Damage caused by misuse, including but not limited to: dropping, collision, bending, moisture, or liquid damage, etc.
  3. Issues caused by non-official or incompatible accessories
    Damage or performance issues caused by using non-official or incompatible accessories (such as third-party magnetic rings, charging docks, cables, etc.) are not covered by the warranty.
    • Official magnetic ring: Warranty service is provided only in cases where product quality defects cause abnormal magnetic attachment function.
    • Non-official magnetic ring: Device drops, damage, or loss caused by using non-official magnetic rings are not covered by the warranty.
  4. Physical damage to the display or precision components
    Plaud Note Pro display damage caused by human factors (such as dropping, impact, scratches, or liquid ingress).
  5. Force majeure or illegal use
    Failures caused by force majeure (such as natural disasters), accidents, or illegal use of the product.
  6. Normal wear and appearance damage
    Normal wear, minor cosmetic scratches, or natural aging of consumable parts (such as magnetic rings, wristbands), unless defects existed at the time of purchase.
  7. Products with missing information or abnormal sources
    Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, incompatible parts, altered or missing product serial numbers, or products that have been stolen, resold, or counterfeited.
  8. Lost devices and accessories
    The loss of devices or accessories (including the device, magnetic ring, wristband, charging dock, etc.) due to user reasons is not covered by the warranty.

Plaud warranty processing

For eligible failures during the warranty period, Plaud may, depending on the product type, nature of the issue, cost of repair, convenience to the consumer and serviceability of the device, provide one of the following warranty services at its discretion:

  • Repair: Repair service for products that support repairability.
  • Replacement: Provide a replacement of the same model or equivalent device.

Nothing in this warranty policy limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Legal rights

This warranty grants specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction. Consumers in certain regions may have additional statutory rights that are not limited or superseded by this warranty policy.
